We are going to hike Mount Major and then have a cookout/bonfire at the Alton Bay Christian Camping Center afterwards. Come for part or all of the day.
Depart GCC at 2:00 pm
Hike Mount Major from 3-5:30 pm
Arrive at ABCCC (GOOGLE DIRECTIONS) around 6:00 and fire up the grill for some good cookin’!

We will have to postpone the hike and bon-fire if the weather turns sour tomorrow afternoon. Lets play it by ear and watch for updates in FB and on 20Shift.com. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to have Trent Sheppard come to address everyone about local campus ministry Monday night March 8th.  He is coming to encourage us and even spark a flame in our hearts for our local campuses here in NH.  Here is a quick bio:

Trent and Bronwyn Sheppard live in Boston, Massachusetts, and they are new, proud parents of a baby girl named Miréa Alev. Before moving to Massachusetts in 2007, Trent and Bronwyn lived and worked in the United Kingdom with Youth With A Mission. Bronwyn recently completed her Master’s degree in International Development at Clark University, and Trent (M.A. Wheaton College) gives part of his time as teaching pastor at STATUS, as well as traveling widely to teach in student settings that stretch from Austin, Texas to Cairo, Egypt.  Alongside their studies and teaching, Trent recently wrote a book called - God on Campus (IVP) - that traces the God-history of campuses in America.

Don’t BE!  Come this Monday night for a fulfilling night of friends, meaningful conversation, and Pizza!  This is a “build a pizza together” meal, so bring a special topping to share on the Pizzas.  It will be too much fun.  If you want to be adventurous, bring a pizza dough!  You can find them across from the milk section in Market Basket.  Remember, bring a friend!

We’re hiking Mt. Monadnock Saturday the 19th!  Meet us at GCC at 8am to car pool.  Bring a lunch.

There is a fee.

We are going to hike Mt. Cardigan on July 18th.  We will leave the GCC parking lot at 8am on Saturday morning.  Please bring food for yourself, as we will be stopping at the top of the mountain for lunch.  This one will be a longer hike, but it is not difficult.

If it is raining, the hike will be postponed
