Hi everyone! You are invited to a Thanksgiving Meal and a short movie November 30th. Come early, 6:00 pm to be certain that you get turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes and don’t forget to bring your favorite side dish.
After dinner, we will be watching a very powerful movie called MOST. This is a brilliant indie-film. BRING YOUR FRIENDS!

A powerful and moving film about a man who learns the true meaning of sacrifice. The 2003 Academy Award Nominated live action short Most. Discover the short film that is winning souls for Christ.

Most tells the story of the close relationship between a bridge operator and his young son and the fateful day when they both try to head off an impending rail disaster. Hundreds of passengers on a steam train are unaware of the danger as they head towards an open drawbridge.

Shot entirely on location in the Czech Republic and Poland, Most is a beautiful yet edgy film that draws you in and grabs your heart. In Czech, “MOST” means “bridge”.

We’re hiking Mt. Monadnock Saturday the 19th!  Meet us at GCC at 8am to car pool.  Bring a lunch.

Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11;

We have to postpone the hike due to rain in the forecast.  We will be choosing a date for the hike soon!

We are going to hike Mt. Cardigan on July 18th.  We will leave the GCC parking lot at 8am on Saturday morning.  Please bring food for yourself, as we will be stopping at the top of the mountain for lunch.  This one will be a longer hike, but it is not difficult.

If it is raining, the hike will be postponed

Its POT LUCK with a theme!   Its MEXICAN MONDAY!  Bring a dish that you can share and we’ll have a sign up for different things to bring.  Sign up on Monday night to participate,  even if its bringing FIRE HOT Salsa!

Hot Salsa CONTEST!!  Winner gets a high five and the pride of withstanding the hottest sauce in the world.

We’re gonna hike Mt. Kearsarge on June 27th!  We’ll leave the GCC parking lot at 9am on Sturday morning.  Plan on bringing a lunch.  This one is an easy hike!  Here are some more details:

STATE PARK – Day Use Fees

Day use fees are charged at most popular parks during the park operating season, and are on a per person basis. In 2008 the normal fee schedule was:

• $4 per person 12 and over
• $2 per person 6 to 11

Directions:

From I-89 exit 9, go E 1.3 miles on NH Route 103 to downtown Warner and turn L on Kearsarge Mountain Road. Drive about 5.0 miles to park entrance and toll gate and then about 3.5 miles to upper parking and picnic area at end of road.  (There is no bypass to get lost in.)

Meet new people, discuss deep topics and drink some coffee!

Meet us at Grace Capital Church at 9am to head out for a great day of hiking and a picnic lunch!

Well it was a success and I personally want to thank each and every one on you for bieng there.  We hope to see all of you this coming Monday the 4th at 6:30pm for our 1st formal meeting.
