I’m pleased to announce we are starting a new year with a new video series, great friends, and fresh vigor.  That means we’re going to rock 2012!  We begin with a Catalyst West Coast series called “Take Courage” that will inspire you and make you ask deep questions about where you stand with faith in the midst of our culture and the pressures that surround us all.  You don’t want to miss it!

We’re excited to be celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas all in one on Monday, December 5th.  The meal is at 7pm but you will want to get there as soon as 6:30 to help setup!  Don’t forget to bring a dish to share.  We will be having a white elephant gift giving time after the incredible turkey dinner so come with something fun and cheap!  If it gets too crazy we’ll have to all sit around the flat screen and watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” and eat pie.  Tis the season!

We’re three weeks in to our men’s and women’s book studies and we’re excited to see how people are responding!  The women are studying from a book called “Lies Women Believe” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and the men are studying from Father Fiction by Donald Miller.  If you are planning to come to Shift this Monday night please know that you will be entering groups that are already in the middle of reading these books but coming to hear about people’s experiences while reading is welcomed!  We will be getting back to Shift as normal in mid December.  We look forward to seeing everyone at Shift again soon!
